Why Ice Cream?
For some reason I loved ice cream my entire life. When I as a kid my Mom was so cool that she even went out to get ice cream for me on one of the coldest days of the year.
As time has gone on I have found that I value the craft of ice cream so much more. Local shops that make their own pique my interest along with trying store bought brands, and taste testing all sorts of ice cream creations.
This love of ice cream is now moving into a business because ice cream is even better with shared experiences.

Did you know these sweet secrets?
Soft Serve
Athanasios Karvelas, later Tom Carvel invented soft serve ice cream when his truck broke down and he shared melting ice cream with those nearby who were praising the delicious soft texture. This lead to Carvel inventing a machine to produce soft ice cream and open a store in 1936.
Ice Cream On Stick
Harry Burt is credited with the first ice cream on a stick through his Good Humor Ice Cream company in 1920, receiving the patent in 1923.
Ice Cream Cone
The cone, something edible to hold ice cream, was first created in the late 1800’s by Italian-American Italo Marchiony, who received the patent for it in 1903.
